So yeah…the real name thing didn’t really take…I think I’ve been using this username/screenname/whatever it is for like 10 years online at this point (when did Firefly air? 2002 right? So it started around then…although my love for all things Whedon dates back to Season 2 of Buffy, when I finally started watching…)

Anyway, thebrowncoat is back, here and on Twitter. My real name is still Brent. You can call me either and I’ll probably answer, although I’ll probably get embarrassed if you actually call me “thebrowncoat” (right pistolita and shil0h and thetipsytoddy?)

I could write a big long post about how sticky our online identities are and how in the world of Tumblr and Twitter, my fake name carries more weight than my real name…but I won’t. Instead I’m going to sleep. I’ve already devoted waaaay more time to this than it’s worth :)  Goodnight moon.
