we are the only friends we have was one of the first advance albums i got when i started interning at fueled by ramen. for some reason big wheel recreation trusted us with two copies of the album months before it was released. i was already a big fan of piebald but this album blew me away. we’d blast it on the office stereo over and over again and somehow never got sick of it.

when i play the album now and it reminds me of the early days at fbr in gainesville, florida.

Highlight: seeing Piebald play it in its entirety a couple years ago at Bamboozle.
