This is by far the best BlackBerry I’ve ever used. (It’s the Bold 9930 for those who are curious about that kind of stuff.)
Work issued this to me yesterday and so far, contrary to my expectations, I’m absolutely loving it.
The combination of a touchscreen with the best keyboard I’ve ever used on a phone is awesome for typing, messaging, emailing, etc.
The screen is gorgeous - I don’t notice any discernible difference between it and the screen on my iPhone 4S. If you have a BlackBerry Curve (which is what I had before this), it’s like swapping out scratched, beat up old glasses lenses for brand new ones.
The web browser (previously the biggest problem on the BlackBerry) is much improved. It’s still not Mobile Safari speed (what is?), but it’s not the poky relic of the past that wouldn’t display half the sites you wanted to open either.
All in all, I could see myself using this as my primary phone. In some ways, it’s actually a better fit for my lifestyle than the iPhone 4S - especially since it offers easy access to both my work and personal email accounts.
It definitely has me considering handing off the iPhone to my wife…and before I got it, I NEVER would have thought a BlackBerry could accomplish that.
